Express Entry
Express Entry was introduced by the Federal Government of Canada in 2015, It is an application management system that governs all federal streams of economic immigration. Since 2015, thousands of principal applicants and their families have been invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
Currently, Express Entry is a system that controls the :
- Federal Skilled Worker Program ( FSW )
- Canadian Experience Class Program ( CEC )
- Federal Skilled Trades Program ( FST )
- Provincial Nominee Programs ( PNPs) Express Entry aligned
You will be invited to the Express Entry pool , if you meet the minimum eligibility requirements of the program .
While in the Express Entry pool , you are given a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score which is used to rank you against other applicants in the Express Entry pool. Mostly biweekly or often, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issues Invitations to Apply ( ITAs ) to the highest ranking individuals in the pool during an Express Entry Draw Profiles will remain in the pool for up to 12-months.
